THUMB SUCKING PROGRAM

This program is designed for kids aged 5 years and older who are ready to stop sucking their thumb. It is 3 sessions over the course of a month, with a graduation party to celebrate your child's success!

SUPPORT DURING THE PANDEMIC

In partnership with a mental health colleague, this parent/caregiver support group provides a safe space to learn practical strategies to cope with the numerous changes occurring as the result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This group meets remotely via Zoom or Google Meet.

GENDER-AFFIRMING VOICE & COMMUNICATION

We are passionate about helping our clients find their voices, and are happy to offer gender-affirming voice and communication services. These are designed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for individuals who identify as transgender, gender non-binary, gender expansive and/or gender questioning.

The overall goal is to work with our clients so they may develop a voice and communication style that is consistent with their gender identity. Together we can work to modify any and all of the following aspects of communication:

Vocal health - Breath support - Pitch and intonation - Resonance - Articulation - Speaking rate - Language (word choice, sentence structure) - Nonverbal communication

Erica Norman, M.S. CCC-SLP/L, has specialized training and experience with safely changing voice and communication styles to be more masculine, feminine, or androgynous.

LANGUAGE BASED TUTORING

Our private, language based tutoring services are designed for those who may not qualify for services, but who still demonstrate a need for support in order to be successful and confident communicators and students across environments. These sessions are 45 - 60 minutes in length.
